Helping Redwood Valley Students Continue Their Education

The Redwood Area Orrin S. Estebo Chapter® of Dollars for Scholars was established in 2001 by a group of parents, counselors, and community supporters who wanted to help Redwood Valley students with the cost of continuing their education after high school.

Our chapter operates under the Redwood Area Education Foundation and is an affiliate of Scholarship America®. Through the generosity of local families, alumni, businesses, organizations, and community members, we raise funds, establish and grow scholarships and endowments, and award scholarships each year to Redwood Valley High School seniors and college-aged alumni.

Since our chapter was established, that community support has helped hundreds of Redwood Valley students take their next steps after high school. Today, we offer scholarships for students pursuing a wide variety of educational paths, including four-year colleges and universities, two-year programs, technical and trade schools, and other eligible post-secondary programs.

One of the strengths of Dollars for Scholars is its simple application process. Students complete one online application and are automatically matched with the scholarships for which they may qualify. Applicants may also have access to additional scholarship opportunities available through the Scholarship America® network.

Our work is possible because of a community that continues to invest in its students.  Whether through establishing a scholarship, contributing to an existing fund, volunteering, or supporting our program in other ways, each contribution helps us continue providing opportunities for Redwood Valley students and graduates.
